I am a previous employee who worked with Blue Banana through one of the most successful periods of business since it had been up and running and worked passionately and tirelessly for them, I regularly stayed late to empathise and boost the moral of my team who were being worked to the bone and so exhausted and upset they would cry their heart out to me. Personally I was promised a bonus each month providing the company reached the financial targets set which it did and after 5 months of Simon Ford avoiding the situation I backed him into a corner and was subsequently made redundent....mmmmm funny that! So in my experience the only good thing about Simon Ford is the ability to con and trick people into buying into him and the vision of Blue Banana. And anyone who has ever worked there will know that most of his days were spent travelling around Dubai meeting people and making empty promises and talking the talk and surprise surprise this is what it amounted to.
